Resume

The SSSC aims to improve the conditions of factory workers in Cambodia ensuring that their rights are protected and exercised. Activities in Phase 2, which directly target over 14,000 people, shift to systems-level change with multisector stakeholders and better synchronization with the Cambodian policy agenda. The Speak Up Champion model is expanded to 4 new factories. Phase 2 strategically engages Trade Union representatives and Factory Leaders. “Speak Up Champion Case Manual” is produced to provide a resource for new factories to launch this program for possible scale-up nationally and growing the community of empowered workers. To further key advocacy goals and actions, “Business Case for Worker Transport Compliance Standards” is produced along with a Policy Brief on ”Enforcement for Collective Vehicles”. Best Practices Workshop is organized to assemble over 170 executive multisector stakeholders to ignite conversation, commitment, and real change for workers.
