Over 4,200 families remain displaced, several houses were burnt, shops looted and destroyed, hospital closed, schools abandoned, water infrastructures destroyed and contaminated after a violent conflict broke out in Sool region, Somaliland. The displaced families currently reside in thirteen displacement camps. The displacement affected families lack access to food security, water facilities, shelter and healthcare, incidence of diarrhea reported in several displacement sites. Emergency food supplies provided so far by Somaliland government and relief agencies has been limited to meet one month ration. The proposed intervention is 3 months’ humanitarian emergency action aimed at saving lives and responding to urgent need of target group living in conflict affected area. The proposed intervention activities are focused and on Food Security & Livelihood (FSL), NFI, shelter and blankets to 600 households in Kabalka Xargaga and Warta Jamac Libax IDPs Camp of Sool region.
