Transition of the 5 project countries to sustainable energy in a way that eliminates energy poverty and reduces poverty in general via creation of local jobs in energy efficiency and renewable energy.
Umiddelbare mål
•To develop and promote sustainable energy strategies that reduces energy poverty and via creation of local jobs also poverty in general, •To obtain support to the strategies by a group of civil society organisations in the 5 countries •To Influence the official energy strategies or plans in the 5 countries. •To raise awareness and develop capacity of NGOs in Eastern Europe •To develop and promote sustainable energy strategies that can show transitions to sustainable energy with reduction of energy poverty
Målgrupper
The primary target group and participants in this project is the organizations working in climate change and sustainable energy in Armenia, Belarus, Macedonia, Serbia and Ukraine. In the project group among the participants are an equal distribution of men and women. The secondary target group is the national and local decision-makers that the proposals are directed at. INFORSE Europe members and contacts in the 5 project countries will be invited to take part in the project activities, whenever possible. Members and contacts in other countries will be informed and invited to use experiences from the project and start similar activities in their own countries.
Resume
Projektets overordnede formål er en omstilling af 5 projektlande og ultimativt Østeuropa til bæredygtig energi, så energi-fattigdom elimineres og så der skabes jobs med vedvarende energi og energibesparelser. Det skal projektet bidrage til ved at de 5 partnere i Østeuropa udvikler og advokerer for bæredygtige energistrategier, herunder finder alianceparntere i landene til støtte til forslag og fælles advokering. Projekterne skal endvidere advokere for konkrete forslag til officielle strategier og evt. lovgivning. Indsatsen vil være rettet imod nationale regeringer i tre lande og kommuner i to lande. Projektet vil også bidrage til formålet via kapacitetsopbygning af civilsamfundet så det bedre kan advokere for bæredygtig energi. Det sker både nationalt og rettet mod hele Østeuropa v. nyhedsbreve, hjemmesider, workshop o.a. via International Network for Sustainable Energy (INFORSE) - Europa.
