Resume

This intervention will provide public health clinics with the ability to do screenings, inform about NCD prevention and risk factors and provide quality data. Moreover, it will improve the capacity of Uganda NCD Alliance branches to coordinate between each other and do better and more locally anchored education and information outreaches. This information and education effort will supplement the daily efforts of the health clinics with popular one-day events, improving the knowledge and general health of the population of Uganda. The data collected at the public health clinics will be used in a targeted evidence based advocacy effort, aiming at improving the government’s response to the rising NCD burden in Uganda.
