This proposal is a response to the deadly and damaging Cyclone Idai impacting lives of millions of people in South East Africa. Plan Zimbabwe, through it's long term presence in hardest hit areas of Chipinge and Chimanimai districts, will respond to urgent needs of food, clean water, child protection and education. The response focus on children, girls and women being most fragile in a crisis situation like this. Plan ZImbabwe will during the stabilisation phase work in the nexus between humanitarian and development approaches and secure long-term impact of the urgent response.
