Resume

The Eco-School programme in Africa seeks to promote and infuse action-based learning and student-centred methods into education in Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda and thereby improve the overall quality of education (improved retention and academic performance). The programme applies a bottom-up and right-based approach targeting schools, teachers, communities and key education duty bearers, while at the same time advocate for the integration/activation of Education for Sustainable Development and action-based learning in national curricula in Tanzania, Uganda and Uganda. In the third phase of the programme climate resilience and conservation intervention are included in the programme.
