As a follow up on our project Open Civic Space for Youth, this project aims to see youth-led CSOs actively work towards and collaborate around improved governance and service delivery in Arua City in the Northern Uganda. We will strengthen the capacity and motivation of youth-led CSOs to operate as effective civil society actors; strengthen networks, peer learning, and shared resources for youth-led CSOs; and enhance collaboration between youth-led CSOs and their communities. The project targets a network of 20 youth-led CSOs working across a wide range of urban developmental issues. Part of the project is to support the running of an urban CSO hub that acts as an incubator and a space for youth CSOs. The 20 organisations will take part in mentorship sessions, and develop their own community action plans. The project is implemented in a consortium between Dreamtown, Network for Active Citizens, and Civil Society Strengthening Network.
