To contribute to reducing social exclusion by supporting the rights of people with disability
Umiddelbare mål
To support development of the social services system for children with disabilities and their families in the Republic of Tajikistan.
Målgrupper
Three target groups 1) Children with disability and their parents (main target group) as the planned final beneficiaries of the action. Targetting their specific needs is the main aim of the action. Parents will be offered seats in the Coordination Council meetings. 2) Social work practitioners (second target group), involving staff of Markazi Nur, Nuri Umed, and Zarshedabonu and of the local SAHU and PHW teams. Their role is to provide new rehabilitation services to children – to help parents to apply the new therapy at home – to boost results, and campaign in communities for recognition of children with disability, including respect for equal rights. 3) Government authorities collaboration (third target group), necessity for achievements. Targeted with trainings, to get understanding of their duty to apply the rights of children with disability and help parents/care givers through the national government social service system.
Resume
Formålet med dette projekt er at hjælpe civilsamfundet i Tadsjikistan med at forbedre eksisterende rettigheder for 31.000 børn med handicap og deres familier - i alt 186.000 mennesker. Mission Østs tadsjikiske partnere Markazi Nur, Nuri Umed og Zarshedabony vil etablere lokalt drevne genoptræningsprogrammer for disse børn og deres familier. De tre organisationer vil arbejde sammen med eksisterende lokale og regionale forældresammenslutninger for at kunne nå ud til flere lokalsamfund og der hjælpe forældre med at organisere sig for at kunne tale for rettighederne for både børn og voksne, der lever med handicap. Målet med fortalervirksomheden er at påvirke regeringens politik og praksis for at udbyde sociale ydelser på en inkluderende måde. Mission Østs rolle er at yde støtte til de lokale partneres projektstyring og organisere den nødvendige ekspertise til at skabe varige ændringer ved hjælp af tadsjikiske civilsamfundsorganisationer.
