Resume

The intervention addresses the climate vulnerability in the villages - Musubiro, Kyalutwaka, and Nkoma - located in Musubiro parish, Lwengo District, Uganda. Climate change threatens food production and the livelihoods of food producers, especially those with the weakest adaptation capacity, often located in rural areas of Uganda. The intervention aims to build the climate adaptation capacity of the target groups and strengthen their ability to become agents of change through advocacy initiatives. Through Climate Smart land use/Agriculture (CSL/A) practices, advocacy trainings, community meetings and discussions, it is anticipated that the targeted communities will actively implement different measures and activities that will eventually reduce the negative effects of climate change. The target group will increase their knowledge and skills in climate change adaptation strategies and practices, bringing value and long-lasting improvements to their food security and livelihoods.
