Resume

The overall objective of Project is to strengthening of resilience in poor communities through transfer of humanitarian technical knowledge to civil society via volunteering. The project seeks to link relief, rehabilitation, development and organisational capacity. Interventions will take place with partners in fragile context of post-earthquake Nepal, post-Ebola and flooded Sierra Leone and Tanzania where sustainable adaptation and climate change resilience is at the fore. The activities are to build internal governance structures within local partners and enhance their capacity within the field of nexus relief & development, resilience, recovery, risk-reduction and management. On-site trainings and facilitation of participatory needs assessments for technical humanitarian- and development interventions with strategic partners will leverage advocacy towards duty bearers and enhance local ownership.
