The aim of the project is to build strong momentum for the global gender equality agenda, where more young people actively participate in and take leadership of initiatives that promote equality - in Denmark and in the Global South. This will be achieved through digital youth workshops and physical youth exchange visits, where 15 volunteers from Denmark will exchange knowledge and ideas with youth from the Global South to build stronger alliances and partnerships. The project seeks to capacity build our volunteer group in Denmark in collaboration with youth from the Global South. We want to build a platform for engagement that invites Danish youth to become further engaged and committed to intersectional global gender equality work, both in the short and long term. Our hope is that the project will enable more Danish youth to become change makers that will advocate for further engagement in the global gender agenda as a part of the global #GenerationEquality in Denmark.
