University of the Nations Myanmar LTD.GTY

The University of the Nations Myanmar LTD.GTY was started in 2020 by Youth With A Mission (Ywam) Myanmar. Ywam has been engaged in the works of helping the underprivileged people of Myanmar various fields including reliefs and various developments work since 1998. It had been trying to get registered in the government with the name 'Youth With A Mission' for several years but had not been able to achieve so because of the name. It is very difficult to get registration with names related to christian faith. Therefore we started to change the name into University of the Nations Ltd.Gty since 2020, and we sought to get registered as nonprofit social organization. Our registration got approved by the Myanmar government on January 10, 2023. Our vision and purpose: We exist to bring lasting transformation to the underprivileged in all areas in Myanmar. We endeavor to accomplish our vision through - educational projects for both children and adults - Transformational development efforts among marginalized sections of society and - Disaster and crisis responses in emergency situations.
