Human Development Foundation (HDF)

Human Development Foundation (HDF), founded in 1997 on the 50th anniversary of Pakistan by the Pakistani diaspora, as a gift to homeland, on the very concept of Dr. Mahboob ul Haq with a commitment to help people help themselves. During last 23 years, HDF been implementing the holistic model of integrated programs based on the philosophy of Dr. Haq. The foundation is a non-profit organization registered in year 2001 under section 42 of Companies Act, 2017 of the Government of Pakistan and is certified by Pakistan Center for Philanthropy (PCP), aimed to fight multidimensional poverty. Our quest for positive social change remains at the forefront and we, at the Foundation, work tirelessly to drive people out of poverty. HDF has positively impacted lives of over 3.5 million communities and continues to play its role for uplifting lives of fellow Pakistanis with its physical footprint in 88 tehsils of 53 districts.
