The overall purpose of this intervention is to consolidate and strengthen the organisational and operational COVID-19 response of the Ugandan trade union movement through National Organisation of Trade Unions (NOTU) and Uganda Nurses and Midwives Union (UNMU) as frontline workers in the current COVID-19 pandemic. The response coordinated by DTDA and UNMU is addressing the following priorities of the GHRP: Strategic priority 1:” Contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and decrease morbidity and mortality”. Strategic priority 2” Decrease the deterioration of human assets and rights, social cohesion, food security and livelihoods”
