Resume

The project's primary goal is to empower youth and youth led CSOs in Ntungamo district, Western Uganda, fostering active engagement in local democracy to address low civic participation rates. The overarching objective is to strengthen civil society's role as catalysts of positive change in their communities through two specific objectives: firstly, equipping youth with the skills and knowledge needed for collective advocacy and action, and secondly, enhancing the capacity of youth CSOs to mobilise, facilitate, and amplify youth participation in democratic processes. By achieving these objectives, the project aims to create an informed and engaged youth population that actively contributes to positive transformation within their local communities.
