Resume

The proposed implementing partners all view youth as their core mission. The goal of making a lasting social change goes through the empowerment of youth, they are the strongest image of change. GAME, GAME Lebanon, GAME Tunisia, ISCA and TIBU propose to work together to create sustainable and lasting opportunities for youth across Lebanon and Tunisia, to positively influence their communities and societies and are all driven by the empowerment of youth to be leaders and change agents. GAME and the proposed partners under this intervention view sport as a model for outreach and an “infrastructure” for the empowerment of youth and children, with a primary focus on non-sport aims and objectives. GAME’s methods foster important human values and can be used to promote respect for rules and for others, teamwork, a sense of belonging and community, tolerance, diversity, hospitality and empathy.
