Resume

The overall objective of the intervention is to assist the next generation of leaders in Somaliland to take on a transformative quest to create participation and opportunities for all resulting in a more equal and democratic society. The objective will be reached through the establishment of a partnership between a CSO in Denmark, GAME, and two in Somailand: The SCORE initiative (hereafter referred to as SCORE) which have partnered with GAME since 2019, and SOCSA, who partnered with GAME since 2018 in Somaliland. It will also have a technical partnership with UNICEF and IOM. This partnership will deliver lasting social change through youth-led street sports and culture. Many young Somalis feel abandoned by their government and society and it’s very clear that youth and children lack suitable social spaces to interact and develop suitable skillsets. Through street sports children should be able to gain access to these spaces and flourish within an inclusive environment.
