Resume

Danish Support Group Ukraine plans to conduct Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) in Mykolaiv and identify mine action needs in Mykolaiv Oblast. The intervention aims to train vulnerable groups and conduct surveys to prevent casualties from unexploded ordnances. It is timely as the water has receded, allowing effective intervention mitigating an overwhelmingly large challenge. The short-term impact is a reduction in casualties. The intervention will reach 9,000 people, equipping them with knowledge to stay safe. Local authorities and communities will be involved for lasting change and improved safety.
