Resume

With this intervention, GAME aims to enhance climate change knowledge and resilience for at-risk populations in Somaliland through awareness raising, engagement and advocacy. Outcome 1 focuses on a youth-led Climate Vulnerability and Capacity Assessment, fostering local awareness through participatory approaches. Youth trained as enumerators from targeted communities will help generate local ownership and facilitate tailored CVCA workshops. Outcome 2 leverages CVCA findings, training youth as Climate Ambassadors to drive climate change awareness and adaptation through a two-day Climate Hackathon camp, focusing on youth-led advocacy and sensitization. Recognizing youth as future leaders, the project equips them with the skills to effectively address community challenges. In Somaliland, where youth and women’s voices are often overlooked, the project seeks to amplify their representation, promoting inter-generational and gender equity in climate change decision-making.
