Resume

The purpose of the intervention is to promote the use of nature-based solutions to reduce the vulnerabilities and build resilience among resettled households in Guinobatan Municipality, the Philippines in relation to the climate change impacts on food security, water sufficiency, ecological and environmental stability, and human security, targeting a total of 3034 persons. The key in this intervention is the identification of nature-based solutions that are well-suited to the project locations, cost-effective, versatile, appropriate, and addresses the specific needs as well as climate risks of the target groups. If the intervention is able to demonstrate the three parts of the desired scenario listed above, resettlement sites have the potential to showcase climate adaptation and community resilience, replicable to other sites.
