Overall targets

The overall objective is to enhance the skills of rural entrepreneurs on agro-processing by adding value to the locally produced agricultural in 3 rural villages - Paro, Haa and Bongo.

Immediate targets

The immediate objective of this project's activity is to strengthen the technical capacity of BCE so that it will enhance the skills of rural entrepreneurs.

Target groups

The primary target group of the project are 90 members from the 3 rural villages of Paro, Haa and Bongo. The secondary targets group are Facilitators, core User Groups, volunteers and staffs of the BCE - 45 persons in total. Women in Bhutan have traditionally dominated food production, enrollment of this project activities will favour the female participation.

Projektets overordnede formål er at gøre de bhutanesiske landmænd selvforsynende, styrke deres økonomi og derved gøre dem mindre sårbare. Projektets strategi består i at opbygge den tekniske kapacitet af Bhutan Centre for Entrepreneurship, (BCE), ved at overføre teknologi, erfaring og viden via introduktion til Fabrication laboratory (FabLab), den såkaldte fjerde industrielle revolution. Bhutanesiske landmænd kan arbejde aktivt og praktisk med den disruptive innovation igennem prototyping, processtyring, produktudvikling og råvareoptimering.
