Resume

This project focuses on empowering youth organisations in Ghana to mobilize, build evidence and advocate for inclusive access and quality in education. The overall aim is twofold: 1) Consistent advocacy and performance monitorering to hold duty bearers accountable under the Ghana Education Strategic Plan 2018-2030 and 2) Increased attention and investment towards the educational sector from duty bearers. The project works in 8 selected municipalities to ensure inclusion of youth organisations working on the grassroot level. The Voices of Youth coalition is a strategic partner in the project, as the coalition over the years has developed into an influential stakeholder in the Ghanaian youth policy and advocacy space, securing a strong link from the municipality level to the national level. This ensures a broad diversity of youth voices both in the mobilisation of organisations and in the evidence-based advocacy targeted towards the goal of inclusive quality education.
