Resume

The Bolivian population in general lack information about climate change. Civil society and local associations seek new methods to generate awareness in their communities and take climate change resilient action with their target groups. Vulnerable groups in the urban/peri-urban areas need adequate information and alternative ways to respond to pollution, deterioration of the environment, over-consumption, biodiversity loss, global warming, etc. This project - ARCA - will promote and support resilience actions against climate change through training and capacity development of women leaders and young leaders of associations and CSOs in urban and peri-urban areas of La Paz and El Alto. The goal is for the local associations and civil society organisations to create their own local climate change resilience actions aligned with their target populations, and the project will also promote the local and regional exchange of knowledge and experience.
