Resume

The purpose is to strengthen young people's capacity to further develop their political competences so they can become empowered to realise a dignified standard of living for themselves and their peers in Choluteca, South Honduras. This will happen a) through accompanying a local youth network in their advocacy efforts towards local political authorities making these duty bearers accountable for the youth becoming able to realise their human rights and b) through the enhancement of the local psycho-social capacity to respond to address mental health issues among youth activists and their peers due to their actions and situation through the mobilisation of local professional resources in a technical network. This phase is building on the gains of the first two phases, now strengthening their political clout by broadening their focus to other entities than the City Mayor, and at the same time reach more young males and female in urban and rural areas mitigating mental health challenges.
