Resume

Over the last two decades Nebbi district has experienced adverse climate change that has led to increased food and nutrition insecurity and extreme poverty primarily due to: Limited awareness about climate change; Limited technical capacity and access to improved technologies; and limited livelihood diversification opportunities. This 9-month “Small-holders Environmental and Climate Awareness Project (SECAP)” jointly developed by AFARD-and SwB seeks “to improve community awareness and identify actions of rural poor smallholder farmers in the two villages Jafurnga and Ngali in Nebbi district, Uganda to address climate change risks.”
