Resume

We will inform about global value chains between Denmark and the Global South, how these affect people and the environment, companies' responsibility and the roles of people at each end. We want to invite the target group to reflect on how these dynamics can be changed. We will carry this out through a learning course aimed at 13-19 year old in schools in Western Zealand. The game will include videos from Mozambique, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Paraguay showcasing concrete value chains and voices. The course will also include direct dialogue between partners in Mozambique and the students. The students will analyse a concrete good and develop a product reflecting their viewpoints. Some of these products will be part of an exhibition at Holbæk library and the festival Skvulp, where the students and guests from the Global South will host a joint event targeting the students’ friends and family. Furthermore the project will contain a broad outreach dimension and social media campaign.
