Resume

The purpose is to focus on Nebbi District (ND) to make it a JEEP Model district in climate mitigation measures and built-up community resilience, accessibility to environmentally friendly solutions and advo-cacy skills. The intervention will have special focus on youth and women participation. Trainers of Trainers (TOTs) from the previous intervention will partner with JEEP in practical training and follow up supported also by government staff from district and sub-country level. Activities will be aware-ness raising, mobile energy hubs as well as training of members of Community-based organizations (CBOs) in primarily cooking, solar energy, and tree planting. Selected TOTs, JEEP and UCSD will in ND at organizational level start to practice training in order to build up effective advocacy skills such as fact supported argumentation in a strengthened positive dialogue, aiming at securing support from local politicians.
