Resume

16 municipalities in the Chiquitanía region in Santa Cruz — Bolivia, have been affected by forest fires since the beginning of August 2019; this situation has been worsened due to the fact that since April there is a water shortage in the area that has hindered the forest fire extinguishing efforts. internatioanl aid so far has focused on ending the fires, and not on asisting the people affected. This project builds on the ongoing response of Plan Bolivia and CEPOS in the affected areas and brings safe water, food, NFIs and protection to the communities in order to sustain their livelihoods and wellbeing.
