Resume

This intervention is a continuation of a previous CISU funded intervention that entailed data collection and HIV testing among sex workers and male sex customers in Freetown, Bo and Makeni. This intervention will seek to strenghten collaboration and network with key health and HIV/AIDS stakeholders in Sierra Leone in order to jointly be able to combat HIV/AIDS and address the challenges of uncontrolled spread of HIV/AIDS and STD’s. The main activities in this intervention include meetings/workshops with identfied stakeholders on health and HIV/AIDS, alongside lobbyism to influence these into action and cooperation. In addition the intervention will host a large scale media event where previous/current collected data on HIV/AIDS prevalence among sex workers and male sex customers are presented and published in Sierra Leone.
