Resume

The intervention is a life-saving program targeting vulnerable IDPs and host communities impacted by the humanitarian crisis in Yagori and Balihadhac villages. The people affected have lost most of their belongings, and some cannot meet their daily needs. This proposed intervention will focus on the short-term impact of safe drinking water provision to enable 780 hhs (4.680 people) in Yagori and Balihadhac villages to have enough water to meet their basic needs for 90 days/three months. This activity targets 100% of the 4.680 people as a life-saving measure aimed at providing immediate access to safe and sufficient water for the conflict-affected men, women, boys, and girls at 7.5 liters per person per day (45 liters per household per day) for drinking and domestic use. The increasing number of IDPs resulted in a greater strain on the already inadequate water and sanitation services available to the host communities in the region.
