The main purpose of this intervention is to secure the sustainability of the civil society network around the football teams of Flying Stars Amputees by mobilizing and engaging junior teams in each of the four main amputee football clubs to be able to continue to advocate for improved rights for PLWD (Persons Living With a Disability) Project objective 1: In each of the four biggest cities of Sierra Leone a thorough mapping and mobilizing of young amputees has led to the establishment of four junior football amputee football teams Project objective 2: Through a national Premier League tournament for amputee football teams young persons living with an amputation has been engaged in the amputee football network which has provided them with a sense of belonging and motivation for participating in a social life
