The main purpose of this intervention is to; To further strengthen and deepen the community impact of SCORE/GAME Playmaker streets-sports program in Somaliland, and as part of this advocate for free access safe spaces/parks with sports facilities for the citizens in Somaliland’s 2 biggest cities; Hargeisa and Berbera. We will do this by 1:Youth Playmakers will become agents of change through the development of leadership and conflict mediation skills and will through street sports strengthen targeted children and youth life-skills and help to build social cohesion and civic engagement amongst kids and youth in their local communities. And 2: Playmakers, SCORE and local partners have a better understanding of the role of a civil-society, advocacy and collective action through relevant trainings and will implement an advocacy-campaign for more public/free access parks and sports facilities for youth and children.
