This intervention seeks to enhance youth agency and participation in governance and democratic processes in Zimbabwe. It builds upon the momentum created during the first project that evidently built positive peace through peace dialogues, bringing diverse and rival political youth groups together with a significant reduction of violence and conflict in the targeted areas. The key objectives are (i) To enhance young people’s peaceful participation and engagement in the electoral processes in Zimbabwe by September 2023, (ii) To enhance young people (18-35 years, gender aggregated, including people living with disabilities) `s knowledge and appreciation of the election management system and electoral laws in Zimbabwe by September 2023. (iii) To promote active participation of young people (18-35, gender aggregated and PLWDs) in national development, democratic and key governance processes in Zimbabwe by May 2024.
