Resume

The recent tension conflicts in lasacaanood have led to over185282 people remain displaced, several houses were burnt, shops looted and destroyed, hospital closed, schools abandoned, water infrastructures destroyed and contaminated after a violent conflict broke out in Sool region, Somaliland. The displacement affected families lack access to food security, water facilities, shelter, and healthcare. Emergency food supplies provided so far by Somaliland and Puntland government and relief agencies has been limited. As a result, food shortages over the coming months will have a negative impact on the livelihood security. The proposed intervention is one months’ cash based assistants for 500 displaced families in Hudun and Awrbogays villages in Sool region.
