Resume

Global Ecovillage Network Ukraine, a network of ecovillages and ecological initiatives, have planned a sustainability-centred intervention to respond to the situation impacted by the Corona crisis. It includes educational videos with condensed practical knowledge about growing food, healthy lifestyle, building and off-grid technologies, promotional presentation videos from ecovillages, flash mobs in social networks with products from ecovillages as prizes for active participants to inspire people to do simple steps towards changing their life, 5 regional centers that accept volunteers, giving possibility for practicing and creating self-supporting communities. The intervention will assist people to change their lives - either in the countryside/ecovillage settings or by adopting new habits in the city - through community led solutions, showing that civil society can bring about solutions and hope for the future.
