Resume

The Marrakesh region in Morocco faces rapid population growth and soaring youth unemployment. Studies highlight potential in Morocco's growing creative industries. Challenges persist in aligning youth education with creative labour market needs, with gender disparities limiting women's access to digital jobs. Turning Tables works to increase youth employability by emphasizing skill development in Marrakech's creative and digital sectors. Limited access and societal barriers hinder female participation, affecting economic growth and gender equality. This project targets digital skill enhancement for 42 young women, aiming to create a scalable model to create sustainable online businesses led by females, merging creative handicraft and fair-priced online marketing, ultimately contributing to gender equality and economic empowerment in the region.
