Resume

The humanitarian crisis has peaked intensively since the armed conflict between the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) on April 14, 2023. In addition to the already established ten informal refugee camps in Eljabalian and Elsalam locality and the formal Hawsa IDPs camp in Rabak locality, White Nile state has received about 25% of the total IDPs who fled from Khartoum. The proposed intervention will take place in the White Nile state, Gezira Aba locality, specifically in Gezira Aba town (The capital of the locality). The crisis in Sudan has also led to looting, and the prices of essential commodities have increased, making it very difficult for the vulnerable hh to secure their daily food needs; The proposed intervention aims to improve nutrition and bridge this food insecurity gap among the targeted population. The food packages will be distributed over two cycles, covering the basic food need for 750 hh in two months.
