Resume

The proposed intervention is to be implemented in Nhamatanda District, in the Sofala Province, in the central-eastern Mozambique. Nhamatanda is one of 13 districts in Sofala and is located is the centre of the province. The intervention will work with five communities in Nhamatanda. The purpose of the intervention is that poor and climate vulnerable small-scale farming communities in Nhamatanda have become more resilient to the effects of climate change through the engagement in climate change adoption plans and practices. This will be achieved through the delivery of two outcomes: Climate change adaptation capabilities of poor and vulnerable small-scale farmers strengthened in the targeted locations. The capacities of the civil society community groups to adopt and effectively promote, and advocate climate change adaptation solutions have been strengthened, The intervention will be implemented by our long-term partner in Mozambique, Livaningo.
