Resume

This intervention aims to build the capacity of Ghana Youth Guide (GYG) - a youth-led organisation - and 50 young small-scale farmers (ages between 18-35) in Tolon and Savelugu districts in Northern Ghana through capacity building and training on climate-smart agricultural practices. The primary target group consists of GYG 5 staff, 5 board, 10 volunteers as well as the 50 small-scale farmers, with a 60:40 female/male composition and including at least 12 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). The secondary target group is approx. 10,000 people of the two districts. This intervention will promote climate-smart farming methods, enhance local knowledge about climate change and improve the capacity of GYG as an organisation, and develop the partnership between GYG and DIB.
