Overall targets

Development objective: Youth in Georgia, including ethnic minority youth, fulfill their potential as agents of change in moving Georgia towards a society in which participation, peace and tolerance exist at all levels; enhancing social cohesion and thereby mitigating the reproduction of dividing mindsets and practices, between youth and adults, women and men, and between ethnic groups.

Immediate targets

Immediate Objective 1: PARTICIPATION FOR SOCIAL COHESION Social cohesion has been promoted and young people in target districts are actively and competently engaged in volunteer activities, thereby building an engaging and participatory youth culture across ethnic groups. Immediate objective 2: PARTICIPATION AND INFLUENCE Young people in target districts are raising their voices as youth, through the Youth Councils in local self-government bodies (municipality level), thereby utilizing the opportunities and becoming active implementers of and potential contributors to the National Policy of Youth in Georgia. Immediate objective 3: ORGANISATIONAL CAPACITY GRCS has enhanced its position as an active player within the youth development field, being recognised for this among youth, within the CSO environment and at political level, locally as well as nationally.
