The main purpose of the proposed intervention is to promote active citizenship for young people living in Hatay, Turkey, by creating a space for the community to meet and get engaged to participate in volunteering, accesses entrepreneurial trainings, plans community initiatives, enjoys recreational activities and is confident to inform about and access protection services, when needed. The key objectives of the project are: a) To empower vulnerable youth on their path of recovery and resilience by providing soft and life skills, sports, entrepreneurial training, and support small initiatives in a multipurpose community center. b) To create an entry for both host and refugee communities in the surrounding of the center to access protection and legal services, especially for vulnerable and crisis-affected youth, in a safe community-led space.
