Resume

The intervention aims to contribute to improved well-being and enhanced rights for the LGBTQ+ community in Armenia, particularly in the Northern regions of Shirak and Lori, through 3 main outcomes 1) that the LGBTQ+ community in Shirak and Lori have better mental health and feel supported through access to safe spaces and a full range of support services, 2) that LGBTQ+ activist and organizations strengthen their capacity to support and advocate for the rights of the LGBTQ+ community in the region and 3) that documentation of and advocacy against human rights violations against LGBTQ+ people in the Northern regions of Armenia is enhanced. This will be achieved through community-building activities in two LGBTQ+ community centers, provision of psycho-social and legal support services to the LGBTQ+ community, capacity building of activists, and production and dissemination of documentation on human rights violations against LGBTQ+ people in the regions.
