Resume

The purpose is to provide Learning Spaces (LS) for 90 pupils across the Bwari Area Council who participated in CISU-funded Capacity Strengthening workshops for Changemakers. The activities include specially designed Talking books, Pens and board games will be used to facilitate these learning spaces using the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach. The LS aim is to enable teachers to adopt more learner-centred teaching methods. These methods will cater to the learning needs of the learners to develop their potentials and contribute to sustainable development of society as active citizens. It will empower the teachers to push for the urgently needed education reforms through a radio talk show “Teacher’s Radio”. Via monthly knowledge-sharing radio sessions, the LS teachers will transfer their knowledge to other colleagues to inspire them to adopt methods. The project will culminate in an Education Stakeholders summit to advocate for improved quality of education.
