Resume

The current crisis in Afghanistan, especially province Ghor, has had a devastating effect on the economic, social, and even psychological well-being of the people. According to our estimation and comparative analysis at least two million Afghans lost their jobs across the country after Taleban came to power. About 22,000 government and private sector employees have lost their jobs in Ghor province and this has had a significant impact on the economy. The lives of more than 85% of Ghor residents depend on agriculture and livestock, which have suffered irreparable damage due to drought and the war crisis, and also the disruption of the governance process. JCO’s Rapid Assessment show that a large group of people are forced to leave their houses in different districts and villages, with the hope to reach a safe place, they left behind everything they had, but now they are living in a disastrous situation in Firozkoh, and we will cash assist these displaced people in Ghor province.
