The proposed intervention will contribute to life saving and stabilization efforts through actions aimed at Cholera prevention through improved water supply, sanitation and Hygiene. The project will focus on the provision of Hygiene Kits, Menstrual Hygiene kits, shared Household (HH) latrines, bath shelters and hand washing stands. The HH Latrines shall support meeting the protection needs of girls and women who have an inherent risk particularly at night and shall be constructed on a Cash for work basis. Components of Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) shall be adopted and used for social mobilization, sensitization and awareness creation on WASH practices. Water shall be provided to contribute to the water for survival needs focusing on drinking water.
