Kenya is already in crisis with regards to the COVID19 pandemic. However, in the event that the crisis does not escalate for longer than 6 months, the planned interventions will remain relevant. The selected areas where truckdrivers stopover experiences high level of transactional sex practices, child abuse and other social vices. Domestic violence in the surrounding areas has also been witnessed as women abandon their husbands for the drivers. The spread of the Corona Virus is high. The project will address all three strategic priorities through Massive information campaigns; Setting up monitoring and response systems; train and engage the community; offer psychological support; organize radio talk shows on violence, sexual abuse and exploitation; provide Covid-19 heath kits; sensitize on hygiene practices; provide relief food to most vulnerable families; provide training on IGA for worst affected by lock down populations
