Resume

Amid scarcity of humanitarian assistance people are forced to live on roadsides or in temporary camps with poor hygiene, virtually no sanitation services and inaccessibility to safe drinking water, exposing them to tremendous risks of acquiring communicable/infectious diseases. Thus, the proposed emergency assistance envisages to address most urgent needs of the flood victims through integrated relief packages i.e. provision of food items, shelters (NFIs), hygiene and sanitation services (WASH), weather friendly shelters to the highly marginalized flood affected populations. The proposed response plan will support the uncovered needs, that are not addressed by other humanitarian actors (Govt, INGOs and NGOs) and provide immediate assistance to the affected population. 500 households (3500 individuals) will be targeted in district Rajanpur for provision of an integrated package of relief, covering the most pressing basic needs.
