This intervention seeks to create a strong civil society voice to strengthen child protection structures and monitor the implementation of the new care reform in Kenya by collecting experiences from Nepal with establishing a child protection network and using these experiences to constitute a Child Protection Network in Kenya. The Kenyan network will host 5 seminars - 4 online and 1 physical - with the overall goal of the seminars to enhance the understanding and application of the UNGA Resolution on the Rights of the Child and the Alternative Care Guidelines. Further, the seminars are used to discuss the care reform in Kenya and present data and lived experiences to assure that the perspectives of some of the most vulnerable children and youth. The target group of this intervention consists of 6-9 identified CSOs to be part of the core group in the network, their respective organizations, and stakeholders from the county and national levels within government and relevant agencies.
