Chin Community in Denmark (CCDK)

The Chin Community Denmark (CCDK) is a Denmark-based non-profit organization that brings together members of the Myanmar diaspora from the Chin ethnic group, currently living in Denmark. CCDK was formed in 2003 and officially registered as an organization in August 2017. CCDK has over 600 members located across 5 regions in Denmark. CCDK’s mandate is to preserve the culture and language of the Chin people who have found a home in Denmark and to maintain the connection between the diaspora group and their families and friends who still live in Myanmar. They also provide support to Chin community members with life in Denmark, through assistance with administration, education, and community building.
